No More Crib!

Leila decided yesterday that she no longer wanted to sleep in a crib.  This really wasn't a surprise to us.   On the Florida trip, she slept in a "real" bed the entire time.  

So, took the crib apart and slid in her "big girl" bed and that was that.  Transition done.

 Leila loves the iPod or iPad, or whichever was available.

 I'm in camouflage.

The Bates Family Florida Trip

Hi All - I've decided to start up this blog (that I actually started back when Leila was born but never did anything with) to document our journey as a family.  I know, its a bit late, but better late than never and with a summer of fun things planned, what a better way to journal it all for the kids someday.

First thing, Florida trip.

Day 1 - May 25, 2013 - 0630.  These kids crack me up.  We're on the road at 0530 and doing crafts by 0600.  Funny masks and faces down the 401.
